This was a good read and a welcomed reminder! I have been guilty of being in my own echo chamber, maybe it comes along with the pendulum swing of moving away from diet culture. But now I feel I have a more nuanced perspective of things.

And like I said, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. its human nature, all just depends how you react to differing experiences. I think we see this play out alot when it comes to using inclusive language in health care, many cis women react badly to changes of language like 'chest feeding' because this feels like a direct assault on their experiences even though it isnt. If that makes sense.
